The ongoing wet conditions has resulted in a significant number of vehicles becoming bogged on farms across NSW. Vehicle recovery presents many hazards and risks requiring special knowledge, and care to be taken to avoid serious injury and potentially death. In this article we present various safety tips for recovering bogged vehicles.
Firearms are very common in the agricultural production industry and can be viewed as a necessary "tool of trade” on NSW farms. In NSW any person seeking to possess and use a firearm must be authorised by way of a
licence or permit
. Safety must always be the first concern when handling or using any form of firearm. In this article we review and discuss firearm safety.
